How Forex Factory News Indicator Works
The indicator connects to Forex Factory and displays upcoming news events on your chart. Events are color-coded by impact: red for high impact, orange for medium, and yellow for low impact.
Usage Tips
- Red events = High impact - consider closing positions or widening stops
- Orange events = Medium impact - monitor but less likely to cause major moves
- Yellow events = Low impact - usually safe to ignore
- Enable "Put_USD_News_On_All" to show USD news on non-USD pairs

Why does the indicator show "Initializing..."?
The indicator needs to download news data from Forex Factory. Wait a few seconds for it to complete. If it persists, check your internet connection and ensure DLL imports are enabled.
Why do I need to enable DLL imports?
The indicator uses DLL functions to fetch data from the internet. Go to Tools > Options > Expert Advisors tab and check both "Allow DLL imports" boxes.
Can I see USD news on EUR/GBP charts?
Yes, enable the "Put_USD_News_On_All" setting in the indicator parameters to display USD news on all currency pairs.
